Through our sponsorship of Paralympians and sports events, we support equal access to sports for all, and promote acceptance, respect to diversity and the athletic ideal. This way we create the conditions for equal treatment by society.

Supporting the Greek Paralympians

Since 2005 we have been the proud sponsors of gold medallist Paralympian Grigoris Polychronidis, one of the top Paralympic boccia players since 2018.

In his career, he has so far won 5 Paralympic medals:

  • Silver in Tokyo in 2020.
  • Silver and Bronze in Rio in 2016.
  • Gold in London in 2012.
  • Silver in Beijing in 2008.

Moreover, he is the Greek champion since 2002 and has excelled in numerous European and world competitions, winning 16 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze medals.

Since 2023 we have also had the honour of supporting gold medallist Paralympian in athletics Nasos Ghavelas.

In 2021 Nasos Ghavelas won gold medals at the World Para Athletics European Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. He also broke the world record (10.82’’) in 100m in the T11 category.

In February 2023 he won the gold medal in 100m in the T11 category at the Dubai World Para Athletics Grand Prix.

Turning our values into action

In 2022 we sponsored the 1st Student Boccia Championship organised by the Association of Greek Paralympians (SEP), the International Olympic Truce Centre and the Live Athletically initiative of the General Secretariat of Sports.

The goal of Greek Paralympian Grigoris Polychronidis and SEP is to make this championship an institution, so that more students can become familiar with this Paralympic sport. We stand behind this goal, as we believe that sports is a point of convergence where differences are eliminated, and there should be no distinction between sports for people with disabilities and people without.
