At a glance

We support the activities of the B&E Goulandris Foundation for people aged 65+ and persons with mild cognitive impairment. Through initiatives aimed at equal access to culture, we are participating in the "Games for Adults" and "Digital Games for Adults” programmes.

Games for Adults – Art and the 5 Senses

The "Art and the 5 Senses" activity from the "Games for Adults" programme aims to introduce participants to the works of the B&E Goulandris Foundation Collection through their 5 senses. The creations by great artists help participants become familiar with modern art and lead to a new interpretation of the works and their creators.

Through stimuli received from their senses, visitors participate in a sensory game designed based on the Collection's works. To this end, the process aims to provoke a creative dialogue between human senses and works of art.

Digital Games for Adults – Colour and Art

We are helping the original online initiative "Digital Games for Adults" to keep going. It is a successful series of online tours, designed specifically for people aged 65+, through the "Colour and Art" activity.

This activity offers elderly citizens from around the world the chance to explore the B&E Goulandris Foundation Collection. Through an original game on the Zoom platform, participants learn about the importance and symbolism of colour in art.

Turning our values into action

We actively participate together with museums and other cultural foundations in the dialogue on active ageing and the quality of life for older people. Our initiatives in partnership with the B&E Goulandris Foundation promote team spirit, socialisation and self-confidence. At the same time, they offer a safe way for seniors to express themselves and become more extrovert, ultimately raising their spirits, which is something all of us need.

At the same time, digital activities for senior citizens open up new avenues for people from all over the world, while enhancing creativity and encouraging the use of digital tools.
