For the past years, we have been actively engaged in the Greek cultural life, with Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, and partnerships with prominent cultural foundations. Moreover, we champion the role of art in the Greek society and help raise awareness through significant sponsorships.

Promoting modern art

In 2023 we sponsored the Nouveau réalisme exhibition, hosted at the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation from January to April. The exhibition features 50 works influenced by New Realism, one of the largest artistic movements of the 20th century. It showcases the youthful, exuberant and fun spirit of artists who left an indelible mark in their time.

Sponsoring National Opera shows

We promote culture through major sponsorships to the Greek National Opera.

In 2023 we sponsored the comic opera Falstaff by Giuseppe Verdi. 6 performances were staged in January and February, featuring the Orchestra, Chorus and Children’s Chorus of the Greek National Opera.

In 2022 we were sole sponsors of the opera Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, in a grand international joint production of the Greek National Opera, Göteborg Opera and Copenhagen Opera.

Moreover, we sponsored the first large summer production of the Greek National Opera, Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi. The opera was staged in June 2022 at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, as part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival.

Supporting theatrical and dance performances

During the 2022-2023 theatre season, we launched our sponsorship partnership with the National Theatre, with the play Ghosts by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Stamatis Fasoulis in the Main Stage.

In addition, in 2022 we sponsored the shows of the Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT I), one of the most iconic contemporary dance companies, at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall. NDT I celebrated 60 years of creation, with 2 new choreographies and 1 older one by Jiří Kylián.

In 2023 we were exclusive sponsors of Jungle Book Reimagined at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall. This show by Akram Khan, one of the most influential choreographers of our time, was addressed to all generations. It aimed to raise awareness about climate change, and its natural and social impacts, but also invite the audience to rediscover a new world right from the start.

Standing by the MOYSA musicians

We have been sponsoring Thessaloniki’s MOYSA – Megaro Youth Symphony Orchestra for a number of years. The orchestra comprises some of the most talented young orchestra musicians, aged 8 to 25, from Thessaloniki, regional municipalities and remote areas of Northern Greece.

Promoting initiatives for all humanity

We support the collective and multifaceted ALPHA MISSION – ΔΕLOS initiative by the World Human Forum, which aims at raising awareness about the protection of our planet. Centred around Delos, ALPHA MISSION – ΔΕLOS creates opportunities for scientists, artists and scholars of different nationalities and generations to come together and discuss issues, such as the climate crisis and space exploration.

In the context of our partnership, we had a strong presence in the classical music concert given by the European Union Youth Orchestra in Delos in May 2022. Russian and Ukrainian artists participated in the concert. The event had a global character, as it streamed all over the world.

In June 2023 we supported a discussion among leading representatives of space technology sciences and art in Delos. The discussion focused on the need to combine the natural sciences and technology with humanities, so as to find sustainable solutions to the planet’s problems.
